On March 2, 2020, (at about 3:30 pm), a d=1000mm pipeline accident occurred at approximately km 23 + 140 of the M6, Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgia border Interstate Road. As a result of the accident, part of the repaired road was damaged.

Road cleaning and temporary restoration work was currently underway. After completion of that works, it would be possible to assess the damage caused to the road. Traffic was restricted in this area.

Additional information would be provided upon completion of the road clearance and full road rehabilitation.
