The overhaul works of the second of the twin bridges in Alaverdi city have started within the framework of the M6 Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgia border Interstate Road Rehabilitation and Improvement Project. The first of the bridges has already been repaired.

The old cover of the second bridge has been dismantled, at the moment the pillars are being fixed, the pillars will be changed, new asphalt concrete pavement, handrails will be installed, other works will be done.

The M6 Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgia border Interstate Road Rehabilitation and Improvement Project is implemented by the "Road Department" Fund with the financing of the Asian Development Bank and the RA Government.
