After Renovation, The M6 Road Will Become Safer And More Comfortable

Reconstruction works on the Tumanyan-Bagratashen customs checkpoint (51,74km) section of the M6, Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgia border Interstate Road are ongoing. In particular, in Lot-1 road rocky excavation, earthworks, drilling- blasting, bridge repairing and other works are carried out.
In Lot 2 (Alaverdi administrative area) road excavation and pipe installation, drainage hole excavation, pipeline transportation works are implemented. The road is sprayed with water to minimize the dust during construction.
In Lot 3 road extraction and other works are carrying out.
The reconstruction of the Tumanyan-Bagratashen customs checkpoint of the M6 is financed by the Asian Development Bank (EUR 44.04 million) and the RA Government (EUR 10.14 million).
After reconstruction, the M6 road will become safer and more comfortable.
