A public consultation took place in Aragatsotn regional administration on the construction of 8km roadway passing through the "Agarak" historic-cultural reserve near Tranche-2 of the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program.

The representatives of the "Transport Project Implementation Organization" SNCO met with the representatives of affected communities and informed them that the final project of the roadway passing through the “Agarak” Historical and Cultural reserve was ready and the complex expertise phase had begun. The design has been repeatedly presented to the population and joint discussions have been carried out.

The issues raised by the villagers were mainly related to irrigation water system and land acquisition issues.
