In Berkaber community of Tavush region streets have  never been paved ‚ but in 2020 the community  already has a new, improved road. The capital repair works of 4 km long section of the M16-Berkaber road have been completed. The construction works, which had started in 2019, were performed by "Chanaparh" LLC. The renovation was carried out with the allocations of the RA state budget.

It should be noted that Berkaber is one of the ancient settlements of Tavush region. The community has about 185 households. St. Gregory Church is located in Berkaber, built in the XIX century and a tomb field of the 3rd millennium BC.
