On 18–21 January 2022, Armenia’s "Road Department" Fund organized a training on procurement and contract administration for 35 officials from the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia and Project Implementation Units of ADB financed projects.

ADB ARRM Country Director Paolo Spantigati welcoming participants expressed confidence that this training will greatly contribute to the capacity building of specialists implementing infrastructure projects.

The training is part of the institutional development component under the Armenia–Georgia Border Regional Road (M6 Vanadzor–Bagratashen) Improvement Project to enhance executing and implementing agencies’ knowledge in procurement, and contract administration of FIDIC contracts.
