On September 20 the delegation of the World Bank (WB) and the representatives of the "Transport Project Implementation Organization" SNCO visited Ararat region to observe the roads which have been constructed within the framework of the “Lifeline Roads Network Improvement Project Additional Financing”.

It should be mentioned that the WB delegation is in Yerevan with a mission to assist implementation of the Lifeline Road Improvement Project. The delegation got acquainted with the reconstruction of Arevshat-Abovyan and Ditak-Jrashen roads.

Mr. Suren Srapoyan, the head of the Ditak community expressed his gratitude to all people and Organizations involved in restoring the road of their village. “During the last 25-30 years we have breathed only dust. Because of the bad road equipment has been broken. Over the past 20 years there has been no transport connection with the regional center. After all these difficulties we have a good road”, said Mr. Suren Srapoyan.

The head of Jrashen community Artyom Ghazaryan also thanked for the restored road.
