Reconstruction of M-2, Noravan Road Section is Completed


The total length of the restored road is 5,466 km (main road and rural area). Prior to the renovation, the road surface was in poor condition, the asphalt pavement was completely deformed in some parts of the road, there were pits, which made the traffic impassable. The contractor carried out earthworks, asphalting, construction of sidewalks, restoration of road pavement, drainage system, furnishing the road with metal barriers, road signs, etc.

The road was repaired within the framework of the Lifeline Roads Network Improvement Project, Second Additional Financing (LRNIP AF2), financed by the World Bank and the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The Project is implemented by the “Road Department” Fund.
