On April 23, 2025, the "Road Department" Fund announced an International Competitive Bidding (ICB) for the procurement of civil works for the Construction of about 7 km of the Kajaran Tunnel and reconstruction of about 4 km of approaching roads, under the “Construction of the Kajaran Tunnel” Project.

The deadline for submission of bids has been extended, and the new deadline for bid submission is: August 22, 2025, at 16:00 (Yerevan time).
