Reconstruction of the Kajaran-Agarak road has begun

Reconstruction of the Kajaran-Agarak section of the North-South road corridor has begun in Armenia.
Two Iranian construction firms (“Abad Rahan Pars International Group” and “Tunnel Sadd Ariana”) are presently mobilizing and preparing for construction.
As part of the project, a 32 km road will be reconstructed as well as 17 bridges, 2 tunnels (with a total length of about 900 meters), and 5 interchanges will be constructed. Upon completion, this section is expected to comply with advanced international standards. The project is scheduled to be completed within three years.
