The meeting addressed the technical condition of the roads, the placement of road signs for cyclists, and other issues.

Participants in the international cycling race, which will take place on Sept. 10-13, will cover a total distance of around 500 kilometers.

Representatives of the road maintenance companies were instructed to ensure an unobstructed race for cyclists along the designated routes.

Tovmasyan also discussed current road maintenance issues with the heads of organizations responsible for maintaining Armenia’s interstate and republican roads. Particular attention was paid to issues related to the companies’ vehicle and machinery fleets and preparations for winter road maintenance.
